According to ‘Melo, the NBA should have let the Chris Paul trade to the Lakers go through, because it would have been good for all parties involved. From the NY Daily News: “Unlike the NBA commissioner, who prevented Paul from going to the Lakers in a trade three weeks ago, the Knicks’ superstar believes it would have benefited everyone had Paul wound up playing in the same backcourt with Kobe Bryant. ‘I thought it would have been good for the Lakers and good for the whole NBA,’ Anthony said. ‘As a guy who loves to compete, I would have liked to see him out West with the Lakers.
