VENUE: Quicken Loans Arena TIP-OFF: 7:30 p.m. TV: FOX Sports Ohio HD (Cavaliers Live pre-game, 7 p.m.) RADIO: WTAM-1100 AM (7 p.m.) PROBABLE STARTERS Cavs vs. Bulls C Anderson Varejao vs. Joakim Noah F Tristan Thompson vs. Carlos Boozer F Alonzo Gee vs. Luol Deng G Dion Waiters vs. Richard Hamilton G Kyrie Irving vs. Kirk Hinrich COACHES: Byron Scott, Cavs; Tom Thibodeau, Bulls. NOTABLE Hinrich is no Derrick Rose, but Hinrich does tend to make life difficult for Irving. Thats no surprise, as Hinrich is widely regarded as one of the NBAs best backcourt defenders. He tends to keep his position, not go for fakes, and stay between his man and the rim. In the event Hinrich does get beat off the dribble, he still manages to be a pest by poking at the ball or swatting at shots from behind. Overall, the Bulls may be the leagues staunchest team defensively under third-year coach Tom Thibodeau. Noah, Hamilton, Deng and reserve forward Taj Gibson join Hinrich as all extremely committed defenders. The Bulls handed the Cavs their worst home loss of the season last year (114-75). They didnt have Rose in that one, either. In fact, Irving and Rose have yet to meet on the court. Noah had 23 points and 10 rebounds in the Bulls opener. Varejao had nine points, nine assists and 23 rebounds in the Cavs opener, a 94-84 win over Washington. The Cavs hit the road for six consecutive games, including a trip to the West Coast, after Fridays game. They play at Milwaukee on Saturday. Waiters, who scored 17 points in Game 1, faces a much taller task this game against two-time NBA Finalist and 13-year veteran Hamilton. He scored 19 on Wednesday. The Bulls lead the all-time series, 108-79. Follow Sam Amico on Twitter @SamAmicoFSO
