The Cavaliers improved to 2-0 in Vegas Summer League action. Dion Waiters paced the Cavaliers who beat the Grizzlies 69-58 on Sunday. Waiters rebounded from a terrible game one shooting performance to score 23 points on 7 for 17 shooting. Tyler Zeller added 11 points and 9 rebounds. Cory Higgins (Erie, D-League) also had 10 points for the Cavaliers. The Cavaliers play their third and final preliminary game today against New Orleans. Following the prelim games, the teams will be seeded for the a Summer League tournament for the first time in the league’s existence. Anthony Bennett is not playing while rehabbing his injured shoulder. Sergey Karasev is also not with the Cavs’ Summer League team as he is playing with his national team.
