Cavaliers starting guard Anthony Parker will miss at least the next two games with a bruised sternum.
Parker was injured in Milwaukee on Wednesday, when he scored a season-high 27 points in a loss to Milwaukee for Cleveland's eight straight defeat. Parker will miss Friday's game in Toronto and at New Jersey on Sunday. The team said Parker's status will be updated next week.
Manny Harris will take Parker's starting spot for the Cavs, who have dropped 18 of 22. Parker is averaging 6.8 points in 39 starts.
Also, rookie Kyrie Irving is expected to miss a week after re-injuring his sprained right shoulder on Tuesday. The Cavs are already minus Anderson Varejao (broken wrist) and Daniel Gibson (torn foot tendon), who had surgery and is out for the season.
