Cavaliers starting guard Anthony Parker will miss at least the next two games with a bruised sternum. Parker was injured in Milwaukee on Wednesday, when he scored a season-high 27 points in a loss to Milwaukee for Cleveland's eight straight defeat. Parker will miss Friday's game in Toronto and at New Jersey on Sunday. The team said Parker's status will be updated next week. Manny Harris will take Parker's starting spot for the Cavs, who have dropped 18 of 22. Parker is averaging 6.8 points in 39 starts. Also, rookie Kyrie Irving is expected to miss a week after re-injuring his sprained right shoulder on Tuesday. The Cavs are already minus Anderson Varejao (broken wrist) and Daniel Gibson (torn foot tendon), who had surgery and is out for the season.

Anthony Parker channels his inner-Anthony Parker, scores career high 27 points

The Cleveland Cavaliers lost again last night (107-98 in MIL) but don't blame Anthony Parker. He was ballin. In 31 minutes and 56 seconds of NBA basketball artistry, AP scored 27 points. He launched 14 shots, connected on 11, was a sniper-esque 4 of 7 from three point range, and went 1 for 1 from the FT line as well. But it wasn't just about the prolific scoring from AP last...

Elias: Jamison Matches Career Mark

Matching or setting career marks during the waning years of a lengthy career is difficult for any athlete to accomplish, but Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Antawn Jamison did just that in Friday’s win over the Toronto Raptors. Following heroic effort, Anthony Parker out tonight in Toronto

If I wasn't actually in awe of the fact that the Cavaliers are currently executing the greatest tank job in NBA history right now, I might find some of this either funny or upsetting. Instead, it's all just simply incredible really.Anderson Varejao has been out for a while. Daniel Gibson is out now too. Kyrie Irving is also out, and Ramon Sessions was traded three weeks...

An Important Summer For Thompson

Tristan Thompson’s rookie season averages of 8.0 points and 6.3 rebounds are hardly the kind of numbers that jump off the stat sheet. However, over his past 12 games, the Cleveland Cavaliers have inserted him into the starting line-up and he has seen his stats increase. In his second NBA start, Thompson dropped 27 points and snagged 12 rebounds in a game against the New Jersey...

It comes at a time when the Cavs have lost nine in a row and had their heart and desire questioned by coach Byron Scott. They fell at Milwaukee on Wednesday 107-98...

Short Handed Cavaliers Must Make Most of Opportunities Against Toronto

Can Tristan raise his game and his team in Toronto? It doesn’t seem like that long ago. It was the day after Christmas, a time  of hope, inspiration, and holiday cheer. And on that Monday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers walked from the swirl of the unknown into reality. We didn’t know what to expect of this team. Kyrie Irving wasn’t the Irving we know today. He was just an...
