Cavaliers recall Luke Harangody from Canton Charge
Gody’s back. The Cleveland Cavaliers announced today that they have recalled forward Luke Harangody from the Canton Charge.
He was sent down to Canton on March 6th, and since then dominated the D-League by scoring 19.4 points per game in 16 regular season starts. He shot over 41% from three down there too, and grabbed 12.6 rebounds per game as well. He helped the Charge to...
Luke Harangody goes legend against Wizards, then back to D-League
I’m fairly certain that no player has ever led his team in both points and rebounds during an NBA game one night, and then been sent immediately down to the NBA’s Developmental League that following morning.
That is until Luke Harangody did as much for the Cleveland Cavaliers this weekend.
Harangody played for the Canton Charge on Friday. He was called up Saturday to start in...
Box Score: Magic 100, Cavaliers 84
Maybe the Cavaliers should have kept Luke Harangody around for this game, too.
On paper, the Cavaliers should have had a chance in this game. With Dwight Howard already out for this game with an injury, his backup Big Baby Davis went down with injury early in this contest. That should have cracked the door open for the Cavaliers to play a tough game and sneak out a win.
Instead,...

Box Score: Cavs 98 – Wizards 89
The Cavaliers aren’t really tanking by choice as can be proven by this victory. The Cavaliers won by nine with a starting rotation including Luke Harangody. Well, maybe someone else is just tanking harder.

On the Cavs, Tanking and Lester Hudson
"Remember Lester, only make game TYING buzzer beaters"
With their the overtime loss to the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday night, the Cavs are officially out of the playoff race. This was expected. The Cavs are in the middle of their rebuild and are in full tank mode.
I wouldn’t consider myself “happy” that the Cavaliers lost, but I do tend to think of these late season...
Cavaliers' Irving sits again, Magic take win
CLEVELAND (AP) -- Jameer Nelson scored 21 points and the Orlando Magic clinched a playoff berth in the Eastern Conference with a 100-84 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night.
Orlando led from wire-to-wire despite playing without star center Dwight Howard, who has missed the last four games with a herniated disk in his back.
The news the Magic made the postseason took...
Hudsanity in Cleveland
It’s amazing how quickly things can change in the NBA. A few weeks ago, Jeremy Lin was the talk of the town. Linsanity was in full swing. The kid was getting shoe deals, standing ovations in Madison Square Garden and a slew of racist headlines. Times were good. But now, it’s like no one knows he even exists anymore. Go under the knife for a necessary knee surgery and your celebrity...
