Miami Heat's Shane Battier recently held a charity event where some of his teammates took part in karaoke. Two of them were Mike Miller and recently inked (pun intended) Chris "Birdman" Andersen (10-day contract) and decided it be best to sing some "Ice Ice Baby" by none other than "Vanilla Ice."
So with Miller, 'Birdman,' and some "Vanilla Ice," it can only mean some epic fail of epic proportions (h/t NBA Mistress). Problem is even if the Heat do not resign Andersen, he won't have a signing career to fall back on.
BEST OF MAXIM
If you could have picked one song for Miami Heat players Chris “Birdman” Andersen and Mike Miller to perform at karaoke, Vanilla Ice’s “Ice, Ice Baby” would have been it, right? Birdman totally has the Vanilla Ice persona down perfectly. He’s got the tats, the attitude, and the skin color. And he and Miller knew the song perfectly.
Personally, I prefer Derek Huff’s...
Miami Heat players Mike Miller and Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen apparently were unwilling to stand idly by and allow teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade to steal all of the spotlight during Shane Battier’s second annual South Beach Battioke on Monday.
Mentioned earlier here Tuesday at SoB, after James performed a stirring, solo rendition of a Michael Jackson classic, Wade and...
Earlier today, we brought you LeBron James and Dwyane Wade serenading a lucky lady at Shane Battier's annual South Beach Battioke charity event to raise money for The Battier Take Charge Foundation.
However, the performance of the night has to go to their Miami Heat teammates Mike Miller and Chris "Birdman" Anderson, who gave their take on the Vanilla Ice classic...
Shane Battier and his wife Heidi held their annual “Battioke” event hosted by The Battier Take Charge Foundation aimed at raising money for at-risk students and award scholarships for students may not otherwise be able to pay for college. This is for Shane Battier charity, always fun videos come out of it.
Take a look.
On Monday, NBA superstars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade sang karaoke at Miami Heat teammate Shane Battier's annual South Beach Battioke charity event.
After LeBron sang a verse of Michael Jackson's "Rock With You", he was joined by D-Wade as they picked a lucky woman from the audience and serenaded her with Shai's "If I Ever Fall In Love".
ROCKING THE MIC
Miami Heat forward Shane Battier apparently loves his karaoke — so much so, that he pitched his own South Beach showcase called Battieoke 2013. And, if you think he limited vocal embarrassment to just bench warmers and rookies, here are high-flying teammates LeBron James and Dwyane Wade serenading a lucky lady to the mid-90s Shai hit “If I Ever Fall In Love”. Just when we thought that Dwyane Wade and LeBron James put out the best performance at the Shane Battier charity karaoke event, this clip of Mike Miller and Chris Anderson performing a Vanilla Ice song is posted.Check out Miller's bling and Birdman's smooth vocals while singing "Ice Ice Baby":

Earlier this month, Shane Battier of the Miami Heat uploaded a video of himself dressed like a ship’s captain, singing the theme to ‘The Love Boat.’ It was the worst THE BEST, advertised his second annual “South Beach Battioke” celebrity karaoke event, and allowed me to make a joke about LeBron James singing Pretty Ricky. As it turns out … I wasn’t that far off.Behold...
