Chris Paul and Blake Griffin receive most of the notoriety for the Los Angeles Clippers, though one of the league's deepest supporting casts has been a major reason for their success.
Los Angeles looks to extend its franchise-best winning streak to 15 on Thursday night when it hosts a Boston Celtics team that has mainly held Paul in check the last couple times he's faced it.
The Clippers (22-6) have surged to the NBA's best record during their recent run following Tuesday's 112-100 victory over Denver. Paul has been the catalyst for the franchise's turnaround since being acquired from New Orleans prior to last season and is determined to bring it to new heights.
''This is fool's gold,'' Paul said. ''You don't play for the regular season. Obviously, you want to build something.''
Paul has 20 assists last two times he's faced Boston, but he's also shot just 3 for 21 in those games and may need help from a cast of ...

BUT WHO'S WATCHING HIM?
Justin Bieber was seated courtside on Thursday night at Staples Center, watching over Chris Paul II, the four-year-old son of Clippers star Chris Paul.
Thus far, Chris Paul has dished out over 5,000 assists since he was drafted by the New Orleans Hornets in 2005. So it’s only right that for once Paul was on the other end of an assist after receiving a huge shipment of sneakers from Jordan Brand. The shipment most notably included the Air Jordan 1 “Knicks”, Air Jordan 1 “Bulls”, Air Jordan 13 “Bred”, Air Jordan...
Chris Paul’s mini me, Chris Paul Jr. made a friend at Thursday night’s Clippers vs. Celtics game at Staples Center, Justin Bieber. Turns out the little one is a big fan and after the win Chris Paul tweeted out a thank you to JB for making his son’s day: “You have NO clue the smile that you put on lil Chris face 2nite…really appreciate you man!! He does not know what to...
For those of you who are fashion-conscious, please avert your eyes from the get-ups being worn by Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul and forward Blake Griffin. For the rest of you, here they are.....(Courtesy of Cosby Sweaters)
As previously noted on this fair website, when the Los Angeles Clippers play a basketball game...it is almost certain that Blake Griffin will do something worthy of making this site.
During Thursday's night game against the Boston Celtics, watch as Blake soars around Brandon Bass for the nice scoop lay-up:
Olympic teammates share the honr.
Clearly we are no longer in the 1980s (or 1990s, as Blake Griffin would have you believe... read on). When making a television commercial, it is no longer sufficient to (1) present a product and (2) attach a famous sportsperson's face to it and (3) profit.
Whilst back in the day many TV spots featuring NBA stars were merely an awkward, unimaginative placement of said hoops...
As previously noted on this website, if the Los Angeles Clippers play a basketball game...there will be at least one notable dunk from Blake Griffin.Check out this alley-oop pass from Chris Paul to Griffin in the second quarter of the game which gets a seal of approval from Billy Crystal:
Matt Barnes tied his season high with 21 points off the bench,
Chris Paul had 11 assists and the Los Angeles Clippers defeated
Boston 106-77 on Thursday night, becoming the first team to win 15
consecutive games since the Celtics four years ago.
