Three notes of some significance heading into tonight's contest:
1. The Clippers have won 14 straight games. It's the longest win streak in franchise history, and at 22-6 they have the best record in the NBA. They're good, but they're not that good. LA is due for a loss this evening.
2. Jamal Crawford is sneaky good. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul get all the hype, but the veteran shooting guard is the #2 scorer on the team at 16.5 PPG off the bench, and on track to win his second consecutive 6th man of the year award.
3. The Jason Collins experiment has got to end soon. His minutes in 3 games as a starter: 23, 15, and 13, respectively. At this rate he'll be back to "DNP CD" in the next week or so. In his three starts he also has exactly the same number of fouls (15) and turnovers (3) as he does points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks combined, 18.

Collins (right) commits fouls better than anything else.
And not the good kind of ridiculous. In the blowout loss to the Clippers on Thursday, the Celtics starting center played 17 minutes and grabbed one rebound. It was the only thing he did that showed up in the box score, unless you count turnovers (1) or fouls (3).
In 3 of his 4 starts Collins doesn't have a field...
The best team — at least right now — in Los Angeles are the Clippers, and Tuesday night they had their way with another team, the Denver Nuggets, as they solidified themselves with the best record in the league as well as tallying their 14th consecutive win. During that game, they had various highlights, but [...]The post Jamal Crawford’s Behind-the-back Vs Nuggets (Video)...
As previously noted on this fair website, when the Los Angeles Clippers play a basketball game...it is almost certain that Blake Griffin will do something worthy of making this site.
During Thursday's night game against the Boston Celtics, watch as Blake soars around Brandon Bass for the nice scoop lay-up:
Blake Griffin, during his post game media availability, channeled his inner Cliff Paul, Chris Paul’s identical twin in the State Farm “Born To Assist” commercial that premiered on Christmas: via @laclippers, @jadande, @DanWoikeSports, @arashmarkazi
The LA Clippers have extended their win streak to 14 games with their win over the Denver Nuggets last night 112-100. They also have the best record in the NBA, so I guess we can let Chris Paul and Blake Griffin slide on these tacky Christmas sweaters at the post game press conference. Paul's 14 points slightly edged out Griffin who had 13 points, but in the sweater category...
For those of you who are fashion-conscious, please avert your eyes from the get-ups being worn by Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul and forward Blake Griffin. For the rest of you, here they are.....(Courtesy of Cosby Sweaters)
Blake Griffin and Chris Paul closed out an exciting day of Christmas hoops on Tuesday the only way the NBA’s biggest superstars should — by wearing awesomely ugly Christmas sweaters. As you can see from the photo above that Dan Woike of the Orange County Register shared with us, CP3 and Griffin made it impossible to choose who was wearing the bigger eye sore.

As previously noted on this website, if the Los Angeles Clippers play a basketball game...there will be at least one notable dunk from Blake Griffin.Check out this alley-oop pass from Chris Paul to Griffin in the second quarter of the game which gets a seal of approval from Billy Crystal:
Billy Crystal, like most Los Angeles Clippers fans, has endured a lot of losing over the years. He is finally getting a taste of real NBA basketball now that the Chris Paul-led Clippers have won 14 straight games and are clearly the best team in the NBA.
The Clippers might be on a run, but they are still capable of doing things that surprise the comedic actor. On Tuesday, it wasn’t...
LOS ANGELES -- At some point, the streak is going to come crashing down. It's going to stop suddenly and abruptly, and the emotional high the Clippers have been riding this month is going to end, just like that.
But right now, they're living in the moment.
No one wants to think about it. They've won 15 consecutive games. They're 14-0 in December. They have the best...
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Jamal Crawford led a dominant performance by the Los Angeles reserves with 22 points and the Clippers defeated the Denver Nuggets 112-100 on Tuesday night, extending their franchise-record winning streak to 14 games.
Matt Barnes added 20 points -- one off his season high -- as the bench outscored the Clippers starters 64-48 in claiming the NBA's best record...
Chris Paul and Blake Griffin receive most of the notoriety for the Los Angeles Clippers, though one of the league's deepest supporting casts has been a major reason for their success.
Los Angeles looks to extend its franchise-best winning streak to 15 on Thursday night when it hosts a Boston Celtics team that has mainly held Paul in check the last couple times he's faced...
LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Clippers waited all day to unwrap their present, a game against the Denver Nuggets that concluded the NBA's five-game, Christmas Day bonanza. When they finally got their turn, the Clippers rolled to a 112-100 win in front of 19,346 at Staples Center, extending their franchise-record winning streak to 14 games. At 22-6, the Clippers boast the...
The Celtics delivered a great Christmas gift, a win over a half decent team! Nets fans seemed to have an awful christmas. Mostly their coach, Avery Johnson, got a ton of heat with a lot of calls for his job. It does really seem like the Nets have no idea what to do on offense. Still, it was a great defensive game for the Celtics and a nice start to the road trip.
