Kemba Walker was a star in college and his on way to becoming a star in the NBA.

There was a Tim Tebow sighting in Charlotte last night. No, not the #15 for the Denver Broncos. Im talking about #1 for the Charlotte Bobcats. After a sluggish start, Kemba Walker picked it up in the closing minutes ala Tim Tebow and closed out the Atlanta Hawks with 18 points including two clutch baskets in the last 90 seconds as the Bobcats won 79-77. This team and city has been dreaming of a star for years and Kemba Walker after just one preseason game has shown he can be that star. Walker is even going to get more help as Bismack Biyombo, who was drafted ahead of Walker signed his rookie contract on Monday after reaching a settlement with his Spanish Club and Biyombo is expected to play Thursday in Atlanta against the Hawks in their second and final preseason game. The Bobcats also traded for center BJ Mullens from the Oklahoma City Thunder for a second round pick and also signed free agent shooter Reggie Williams who with the Golden State Warriors and former Bobcats center Melvin Ely.
