The superstar guard out of Conneticut and a cult legend of last years Big East and NCAA Tournament is finally able to practice after being limited to only watching pracitces awaiting approval of his contract by the NBA. It didnt take long for Charlotte Bobcats head coach Paul Silas to heap praise on Walker. He said Walker reminds him of former NBA All Star guard Tiny Archibald and Walker is already “pushing” current starting point guard DJ Augustin. Silas says both are” focused” and he “loves it.” Being that both are Augustin and Walker are both on the small side it will be interesting if the Bobcats add another combo guard to the roster who has the size to contend with the bigger point guards around the league.  I still believe there is a good chance that Augustin could be traded during the season especially if Walker plays well and the Bobcats are out of contention.
