The home of the Charlotte Bobcats, Time Warner Cable Arena, and the ownership held a Draft lottery party last night and the results were sad on many levels. In the actual arena there was only sadness on one level as barely anyone showed up, but when New Orleans landed the first pick you could feel the air come out of those 50 or so people that did show up. Jordan tells Ewing he won't be Bobcats head coach
Charlotte Bobcats President of Basketball Operations Rod Higgins says the team will hire a new head coach within the next couple of weeks, but it won't be Patrick Ewing.
Higgins said that owner Michael Jordan informed Ewing that the team plans to hire someone other than him to replace Paul Silas.

The New Orleans Hornets just won the NBA lottery and the No. 1 overall draft pick. Many believe Kentucky star Anthony Davis is the best selection available and will be drafted No. 1.
