Found 20 days ago on Pass The Pill:
Last offseason, the then Charlotte Bobcats surprised many when they signed Al Jefferson. Big Al helped Charlotte make the playoffs, and even though they were sent home in the first round, it was an important first step for a struggling franchise. It looks like the now Charlotte Hornets are going after a big name free agent for the second year in a row. This time around, it’s Gordon Hayward. Hayward is a restricted free agent, which means that the Utah Jazz have the right to match any offer he gets from another team. It’s been thrown around that he could receive a max contract, but we’ll have to wait to see, as the larger dominos of free agency have yet to fall. The Hornets could use Hayward’s ability to score from the perimeter, and his length would allow him to fit in nicely on the defensive end for Charlotte. @JrMarkyMark The post Charlotte Hornets Make Pitch To Big Name Free Agent appeared first on Pass The Pill - Kings of Hoops.
