WASHINGTON -- The Charlotte Bobcats have already matched last season's win total. The Washington Wizards are still seeking win number one after yet another painful, late game loss. Byron Mullens scored 20 of his 27 points after halftime and Reggie Williams atoned for a costly foul by drilling the go-ahead 3-pointer as the Bobcats clawed past the winless Wizards 108-106 in double overtime on Saturday night. Washington remains the only winless team in the NBA and the loss extended the franchise-record skid for season-opening losses to 11 games. Martell Webster led the Wizards with 21 points and Nene added 19 in gutty performance, his first home game this season. Six Bobcats (7-5) scored in double figures, including Ramon Sessions with 21. Ben Gordon, one of three Bobcats' to foul out, had 19. Last season Charlotte finished 7-59, setting the NBA record for season-worst winning percentage. Two of the Bobcats' victories have come over the Wizards, who have lost severa...

Wizards Fans Have Had Enough, Ernie Grunfeld Needs to be Fired

Ted Leonsis continues to blog about sticking together and not making changes. Sometimes I see his blog posts as a slap to the fan, like we don’t know what the real problem with the organization is — the General Manager Ernie Grunfeld. The media knows it, the bloggers know it, and most importantly the fans know it. The only person at this time who doesn’t seem to know what needs...

Charlotte Bobcats Give Fans First Ever Relief Orgasm

I’ll start off with a full confession: I didn’t see the second overtime of the Bobcats win against Washington, because I had recorded the game and only gave myself a half-hour buffer afterward.  But even if I had been watching the game live I might not have seen it, because I probably would have passed [...]

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Byron Mullens scored 27 points, Ramon Sessions had 20 and Ben Gordon added 19 as the Charlotte Bobcats earned their seventh win of the season and kept the Washington Wizards winless with a 108-106 double-overtime victory on Saturday night. Wizards Remain Winless - Fall 108 - 106 to Bobcats

Yeah...this is a nasty dunk by Taylor.  Enjoy! It wasn’t supposed to happen this quickly. Every once in a while a team comes out of nowhere and forces the league to take notice. The Grizzlies have been perennial doormats of the Western Conference for example, and suddenly they’re the hottest team in the league. The Charlotte Bobcats, another team performing way above expectations...

Charlotte Bobcats vs. Atlanta Hawks Preview and Pick

I got a hard time from some fellow Bobcats enthusiasts this week for a gaffe on Charlotte’s winning streak. That was my bad. A few people also said I was over-reacting to the Bobcat’s 5-4 start. I disagree there. It was another narrow win, but the Bobcats got past the Toronto Raptors 98-97 on Wednesday [...]

Two teams headed in different directions meet Saturday night when the host Wizards look to end their worst start in franchise history against the surprising Bobcats. Charlotte knows a little something...

Bobcats edged by Hawks

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Atlanta Hawks coach Larry Drew warned his team to take the Charlotte Bobcats seriously and forget all about their record last season. It sure looked as if his players were listening. Al Horford had 26 points and 13 rebounds, and the Atlanta Hawks beat the Charlotte Bobcats 101-91 on Friday night for their fourth consecutive victory. Horford called it one...
