PLAYERS:
Eddy Curry
A Chicago attorney named Fredrick Goings has been found guilty in the 2009 murder of former NBA player Eddy Curry’s ex girlfriend Nova Henry and their 10-month old daughter Ava.
Goings was the attorney for Henry in a child custody case against Curry. The two were also romantically involved. Prosecutors say Henry tried to end the relationship with Goings and moved from his home with her two children, both by Curry. Goings shot Henry in her home while she was holding Ava. Curry’s son Noah, who was then 3 years old at the time, was in the home but wasn’t harmed. When Nova’s mother discovered the bodies, she testified that Noah told her “Fredrick did it.”
Curry is currently playing basketball in China.
