Bulls-boozer-shoots
Carlos Boozer has been considered a constant disappointment since he signed a massive contract with the Chicago Bulls in the summer of 2010. He has showed flashes of former brilliance, but has been horribly inconsistent and has been given constant scrutiny from Bulls’ fans. He was supposed to be the Bulls’ long needed go-to player in the post, but he has failed to live up to expectations and was considered a given to be amnestied after the 2013 or 2014 season. However, his inspired and excellent play over the last ten games have given the Bulls exactly what they hoped for when they gave him a 5 year, 80 million dollar contract in 2010 and has earned the right to stay in Chicago for at least another year. The Bulls have struggled all year to score on offense without Derrick Rose and Boozer has finally given them the scoring they gave him so much money to provide. Over the last ten games the Bulls are 7-3 and Boozer has averaged 22.6 points and 11.2 rebounds and along with Luol Deng, ...

Marco Belinelli makes sweet winning shot

Tweet By most accounts, Bulls guard Marco Belinelli is an average NBA player. In 25 minutes per game this season, he’s averaging 9.7 points, 1.5 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game. Those aren’t staggering numbers. Those aren’t awful numbers. Average. Belinelli looked miles above average with his game-winning jumper in overtime to beat the Celtics. [...]

Derrick Rose Nearing Return for Chicago Bulls

Good news for the Chicago Bulls: former NBA MVP Derrick Rose is likely to return to the lineup for the first time this season immediately following the Feb. 15-17 All-Star break.

Bulls 107, Raptors 105 (OT)

TORONTO -- Carlos Boozer scored a season-high 36 points but despite leading by 19 points during the third quarter the Chicago Bulls needed overtime to defeat the Toronto Raptors 107-105 Wednesday before a crowd of 18,674 at Air Canada Centre. Luol Deng hit an 18-foot pull-up jumper with 3.3 seconds to snap a tie and give the Bulls their hard-earned win. But not until the Raptors...

Deng's OT jumper boosts Bulls past Raptors

TORONTO -- Luol Deng sat at his locker in the Chicago Bulls' dressing room with an ice pack on his right thigh. He tweaked his right hamstring while running in the first quarter Wednesday, but he did not let that stop him from playing nearly 48 minutes and hitting the winning 18-foot, pull-up jumper with 3.3 seconds to play in overtime in the Bulls' 107-105 victory over...

Lowly Teams are Bulls Achilles’ Heel

If the NBA playoffs were today, the Chicago Bulls (sans MVP Derrick Rose) would be sitting at the fifth seed and facing a matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. Not too shabby for a team lacking its scoring leader and a credit to the coaching of Tom Thibodeau. However, there is a bane growing stronger within [...]

Luol Deng Hits Game Winner Over Raptors, Announcer Freaks Out (Video)

The Toronto Raptors erased a 19-point deficit to the Chicago Bulls in the second half of last nights game to tie it up at 105-105.  With 8.7 seconds left on the game clock, Bulls forward Luol Deng got the ball and took it into the lane to hit the game winning jump shot with 3.3 left on the clock.  The announcer went wild after the shot fell screaming, "Loul Dangerous does...

NBA Admits Refs Made Wrong Call In Raptors/Bulls Game

With one second remaining in overtime of the Chicago Bulls-Toronto Raptors game on January 16, officials called a foul on Chicago’s Joakim Noah as Toronto’s Amir Johnson gathered the ball while driving to the basket. The officials ruled the foul was on the floor but upon review at the league office, the video replay confirmed that the foul should have been called a shooting foul...

Underrated Stat of the Night - Bulls 1/18

The Celtics have lost. This one really sucked. We had a lead with a few seconds left in both the fourth and in OT, yet we couldn't catch a break. Rondo played amazing: putting in 30 points, 2 rebounds, and 7 assists. Unfortunately, he fouled out mid-way through overtime. This one stings and I just want to move on, but I won't. Tonight's underrated stat of the night...

Belinelli's shot lifts Bulls in OT

BOSTON -- Marco Belinelli quickly went from goat to hero in the closing seconds of overtime Friday night, giving the Chicago Bulls their second road OT win in a span of three nights. Belinelli, guilty of too much dribbling and a wild shot off the top of the backboard with his team ahead by a point, hit an off-balance 14-footer with 3.1 seconds left to give Chicago a 100-99 victory...

Celtics-Bulls Live: Paul Pierce, C’s Shoot to Regain Winning Form Against Old Friends Tom Thibodeau, Nate Robinson

8 a.m. ET: Not having Derrick Rose has not turned out to be much of a problem for the Chicago Bulls. Then again, that should not be much of a surprise, given their leadership. Former Celtics assistant coach Tom Thibodeau is the head man in Chicago, of course, and under his direction the Bulls have not let the absence of the former NBA Most Valuable Player hold them back. The Bulls...

Celtics Player Grades vs Chicago Bulls

The Boston Celtics fell to the Chicago Bulls 100-99 ESPN Boxscore CelticsLife Game Recap Player Grades: Kevin Garnett: 16 Points, 7 Rebounds Garnet had a very tough game tonight. He struggled offensively for most of the night, while he was beaten up by both of Chicago's big men. He came back in the 4th quarter and made some big plays, but it is tough to say anything positive...

Grizzlies-Bulls Preview

The Memphis Grizzlies got the best of the Chicago Bulls in a low-scoring affair last month. Points could be even harder to come by this time around if Zach Randolph and Luol Deng can't play. Memphis' Randolph and Chicago's Deng are both uncertain to be available Saturday night in what sets up as a defensive battle at the United Center. Randolph had 10 points and 15...
