Chicago Bulls Release 2-Year NBA Player

Carlik Jones is coming off a year where he played in seven regular season games for the Chicago Bulls

The former Louisville star averaged 2.9 points per contest while shooting 40.0% from the field. 

He also played well in the G League with averages of 26.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.7 steals per contest while shooting 48.0% from the field and 35.5% from the three-point range in 24 regular season games. 

On Friday, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reports that the Bulls are waiving Jones. 

Via Charania: "The Chicago Bulls are waiving guard Carlik Jones, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium."
