Game one between the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat was in a word, shocking. Miami is the defending NBA champions who have rolled through the regular season and the first round of the playoffs. Chicago has been solid all season without superstar PG Derrick Rose, but they are now missing Luol Deng, who is probably their second best player, and Kirk Hinrich, who has stepped up nicely as Rose’s replacement this season. Both players are considered day-to-day, but it is hard to say when either return. Last night, they simply did not need them.
The Bulls are a very scrappy and hard-nosed bunch of players. Nate Robinson, who is Hinrich’s backup, led the team with 27 points. After a collision in the first half, Robinson needed ten stitches on his lip. That did not phase him as he led the Bulls to victory making big play after big play down the stretch. Another key part to the win was second year player Jimmy Butler. Butler had 21 points and 14 rebounds, all whil...
BEST OF MAXIM
Derrick Rose and his young son, P.J., enjoyed the Miami sun on Wednesday afternoon before the Bulls lost Game 2 to the Miami Heat 115-78.
When you a superstar like Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose, you get to snack on the big bowl of candy on the Chicago Bulls bench during game two of the Miami Heat/Bulls series:
Clearly, Derrick is either a fan of “peach rings” or “life savers”.

There was a report from Hoops World that Derrick Rose “might” be in uniform by Game 3 of the Heat vs. Bulls series. Not his standard suit and tie uniform, but his real basketball uniform. The report didn’t say if Rose would actually play, but just that he might wear his uniform.
It was pretty vague, but Coach Thibodeau doesn’t want to get anyone hopes up.

Throughout this over the top suffocating coverage of Derrick Rose and his repaired ACL, comparisons have been made from Adrian Peterson to Greg Oden, to Bernard King, to Rob Gronkowski (yes seriously, because he came back too soon they’re saying!). The immediate defenders of Rose are quick to recall how Chris Paul never was the same again ...

Unless you are a fan of the Miami Heat, or a Utah Jazz fan still bitter about the Jordan push-off on Byron Russell, you should be rooting for this years Chicago Bulls squad. Playing short-handed all season long, they have played with an immense amount of heart and pride, including their...
Nate Robinson scored 27 points, Jimmy Butler added 21 points and 14 rebounds while playing every second for the third straight game, and the Chicago Bulls stunned the Miami Heat 93-86 on Monday night to take Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series.
Trailing 86-83 with 2 minutes left, the Bulls scored the final 10 points of the game to beat the Heat once again.
It's always fun to see the Miami bandwagon fans melt down after a loss. It's so funny to see them complain about the officiating when they get the benefit of the calls 99.9% of the time. In a game where the opponent took just 4 free throws more than them, they are certain that the game was fixed. They are used to getting all the calls and when a crew calls is...
Who cares, right? Well, I guess a huge Jackson/Chicago Bulls fan would enjoy that fact. Samuel L. Jackson decided to take to his Twitter account and voice his opinion on the Chicago Bulls winning Game 1 of their 7-game series with the top-seeded Miami Heat. The Bulls were without Loul Deng, Kirk Heinrich, or Derrick Rose, but stunned the Heat by closing the contest with a 10-0 run...
Nearly every NBA Playoffs brings an X factor. There is a moment, a play or a comment that holds the potential to either define or change the direction of circumstances. For some teams that factor can boost your chances or it can lead to your demise. For the Boston Celtics it was age. Their two best players are riding out their final seasons in the league and the Celtics will inevitably...

The Chicago Bulls didn’t need Derrick Rose, Loul Deng or Kirk Hinrich to beat the defending NBA champion Miami Heat on Monday night at AmericanAirlines Arena. The Bulls defeated the Heat 93-86 to go up 1-0 in their
