Via It's Always Sunny In Detroit:
You've seen Chris Paul on such shows as the NBA on TNT, the NBA All Star game, the NBA Playoffs. And when dropping dimes and picking pockets on the basketball floor, he's sitting on the couch enjoying himself some Steve Harvey and Family Feud. These days, he's enjoying himself a lot of Steve Harvey and Family Feud.
Paul and family appeared on Tuesday's show. Shockingly, they were not given preferential treatment because of Chris' superstardom. According to nola.com, Paul's family:
"...got in the game over the summer as any family would, by calling up the show’s player hotline (323.762.8467) and requesting an audition. They tried out in New Orleans during auditions held in conjunction with the Essence Music Festival. According to a show spokeswoman, there were no pre-arrangements made to inform casting producers that an NBA superstar would be trying out with his family."
“I didn’t know who he was,” said Gaby Johnston, executive producer. “I had no clue." She added, "we’d done NBA players before on the show." Sure ya have, Gaby.
