Chris Paul scored a season-high 36 points, Blake Griffin added 27 and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets 103-95 Wednesday night to snap a two-game skid in their last game before the All-Star break. Paul and Griffin are headed to the game as starters in Orlando, having led their team to a 20-11 record in the first half of the lockout-shortened season. Griffin had 12 rebounds and DeAndre Jordan had 16 boards as the Clippers improved to 12-4 at home. Arron Afflalo scored 20 points and rookie Jordan Hamilton added a season-high 18 points for the injury-riddled Nuggets, who lost their fifth in a row on the road. They played without Danilo Gallinari, Ty Lawson, Nene and Rudy Fernandez.

Video: Griffin dunks over three Nuggets

Blake Griffin did it again on Wednesday night. In the above video all the Griffin did was dunk on no fewer than three members of the Denver Nuggets. Included in that group was Timofey Mozgov, who is no stranger to being posterized by Griffin. In fact, we’d bet heavily that Mozgov is probably still having nightmares about Griffin on a nightly basis. The best part about this...

Blake Griffin dunks over half the Nuggets (Video)

Blake Griffin has put together several monster dunks during his short NBA career, and this is easily one of my favorites. Griffin, who once infamously tea-bagged Timofey Mozgov when the latter was with the Knicks, nearly repeated history Wednesday. Blake dunked over (or around) three Nuggets players in the third quarter of the Clippers’ 103-95 win. Griffin had 27 and 12, but those...

Chris Paul Confirmed He’ll Pick Up Option With Clippers for 2013

No shocker here, but Chris Paul let it be known that he’ll be sticking around Clipper-Land for at least another season. From SI (via CBS Sports): “When Chris Paul landed in Los Angeles this past December, traded from the New Orleans Hornets to the Clippers in a preseason blockbuster, he had one year left on his contract and a big decision to make about his future. Now, he says...

Clippers players charge room service to each other’s rooms on the road

If you ask me, the Clippers have come together quicker than expected. Once they acquired Chris Paul, you knew people were going to start paying attention to that other team in Los Angeles. The Clippers have as much talent as any team in the NBA, and they have been able to turn that talent into wins despite playing only 30 games together. What’s the secret? They’re having fun...
