Los Angeles Clippers
LOS ANGELES -- With the way the Los Angeles Clippers have been flashing their offensive balance in recent games, it's almost as if opposing teams have two basketballs to contend with. And both count. The Clippers had six players in double-figures and hit the 100-point mark with five minutes left as they cruised to the 112-90 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night at Staples Center. By the end of the game, the Clippers' starters were waving towels on the bench as the deep set of reserves threw down alley-oops and rained down 3-pointers. Jamal Crawford had 20 points off the bench to lead Los Angeles, which won the battle of bench scoring, 47-34. Blake Griffin had 19 points, 13 rebounds and five assists and Caron Butler added 16 points for the Clippers. Dallas offered a balance offense as well, only the Mavericks shot far worse than the Clippers. Dallas shot 41 percent from the field (34-of-84) to the Clippers' 50 percent (45-90), though the Mavericks hit ...

The Los Angeles Clippers had plenty of highlights during their dominating 112-90 win over the Dallas Mavericks Wednesday night, from Blake Griffin's dunks to Eric Bledsoe's reverse alley-oop.
One of the lowlights, however, was Lamar Odom's embarrassing miss of a layup attempt that was so far off the mark that it almost went over the backboard.
Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin was dunking all over the Dallas Mavericks during Wednesday night's NBA game at the Staples Center.
In the first quarter, Griffin caught a bounce pass from Chris Paul that was actually deflected by a Mavs defender, but still managed to throw down a powerful left-handed dunk over Elton Brand.
In the third quarter, Paul and Griffin...

Clippers guard Chauncey Billups became the latest player to receive a warning for flopping Wednesday as the NBA came down on him for kicking out his leg on this 3-point attempt.
The Clippers trailed by 2 with 1:14 seconds left in Monday’s game at Utah, so when Chauncey Billups attempted a 3-pointer, he kicked out his leg hoping to be awarded 3 free throws, and he was. Billups...
One of the overriding themes in Chris Kaman's years-past time with the Los Angeles Clippers was owner Donald T. Sterling's "Reign Of Error." One of the overriding themes of the Clippers of present-time is Sterling's willingness to maintain happiness for stars like Chris Paul, a free-agent-to-be in the summer of 2013 and a long-time Dallas Mavericks acquisition...
Tweet Los Angeles Clippers guard Jamal Crawford is one of the NBA’s best ball-handlers, and teammate DeAndre Jordan is one of the league’s most athletic. The combination came together beautifully for the Clippers against the Mavericks last night: This play was another example why the upstart Clippers are quickly becoming one of the NBA’s most [...]

He was back and now he’s back on the bench…..again.
This time, it’s peroneal tendinitis in his left foot. And the timetable for his return on this injury is about 2 weeks.
Man, the basketball Gods keep messing with Billups. Here’s Chauncey on the new injury:

When most people think of nasty slam dunks and the Los Angeles Clippers, they usually link Blake Griffin or DeAndre Jordan.Last night, Caron Butler added his name to the list as he threw down a nasty dunk in the grill of Dallas Maverick center Chris Kaman. He almost added a "mush" for good measure:
Not only will the Dallas Mavericks be bringing some former Los Angeles Clippers into this matchup, they'll see some familiar faces as well.
The Clippers can stretch their win streak to four Wednesday night and hand the Mavericks a third straight road loss.
