NBA Injury News:
Last season when the Los Angeles Clippers took on the Memphis Grizzlies, Chauncey Billups was suited up on the bench due to a torn ACL. After missing 60 games this season due to several different injuries, Billups appears to be ready to go for the Clippers' postseason opener.“I’m just excited to be out there and not have to watch, sitting in a suit,” Billups said after Friday’s practice. “It’s great for me. Obviously, I felt like I could help the team last year in the playoffs and this year I’ll have that opportunity. So, I’m just excited, really, to be back at it.”In his 22 games, Billups is averaging 8.4 points and 2.2 assists to go with an incredible 93.4% free throw percentage in 19 minutes per game. In the regular season finale, Billups scored 17 points and iced the game with four free throws near the end of regulation to hold onto the win. Chris Paul had a few words of praise for his teammate.“Chauncey is one of those guys whether he’s in the game or out of the game, once he comes back it’s like he never left.”His presence will undoubtedly be huge for the Clippers in the post-season, but coach Vinny Del Negro will look to limit his minutes early on, according to NBA.com“He’ll be limited,” Del Negro said. “Somewhere in the 20s [minutes], I don’t know where exactly yet." This is a rematch of last year’s series between the Clippers and the Grizzlies. In Game 1, the Grizzlies were all over the Clippers until LA came back from 26 points to win the game. Chris Paul admitted after Game 1 that Eric Bledsoe is playing so well that the Clippers will not be able to afford to keep him when he becomes a restricted free agent in 2014. Off the bench, Bledsoe contributed a big 15 points (7-7), four assists and six rebounds in Game 1.

You would think people would learn to take any comments Charles Barkley makes with a grain of salt by now. He’s wrong half the time anyway.
Barkley, who is an analyst on TNT’s “Inside the NBA,” has said on many occasions that he doesn’t see the Los Angeles Clippers as true title contenders because they have “no toughness.”
Well, Los Angeles Clippers forward Caron...
The Los Angeles Clippers played above the rim, not enough to live up to their Lob City moniker but enough to beat Memphis at its own rebounding game.
