Daequan Cook (Source: Yardbarker.com)
We wrote a few days ago about Cook being a great three point shooter and how that might affect the Thunder this year. Last night, Chris Silva over at the official Thunder site talked to him about just that.
We saw a bit of what he could do the other night versus the Heat with the 9 points he got past the three-point line.
Here is what Cook had to say to Chris about working with his new teammates and how it might affect his shooting percentage -“I’m used to always being spaced out on the floor, getting around to the positions on the floor I need to be in to allow myself to get the shot. My teammates were doing a great job, as you could see in the last game, finding me so I can get the shots up.”
Let’s hope that holds true for the rest of the season! We all know the Thunder weren’t impressive with their shooting percentage last year, especially past the three point line.
What do you think? Will the Thunder have a better shooting percentage this year?
