It seems like just yesterday we watched San Antonio Spurs great David Robinson interact with his kids in Oreo cookies commercial where he complimented a very young Corey Robinson on his cookie dunking abilities.
Robinson now compliments Corey on touchdown catches as a junior at San Antonio Christian High School, and Robinson will more than likely be making a few trips to South Bend, Indiana not too far down the road.
According to a report from the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, Corey committed to attend and play for Notre Dame as part of the 2013 Irish recruiting class.
Robinson, who is rated a three-star prospect by Rivals.com, is the ninth player to commit to Notre Dame and the sixth pledge since Saturday. He is also the second receiver to join the Irish's Class of 2013, joining Minnesota's James Onwualu.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Robinson is the son of former San Antonio Spurs center David Robinson. He caught 42 passes for 660 yards with 10 touchdowns last season for San Antonio Christian.
Corey also had scholarship offers from Iowa, North Carolina, Wake Forest, Kansas and Navy, where his father was an All-American.
“There was something about (this past weekend’s visit). I can’t explain it,” Robinson told Rivals.com. “Me and my dad and my mom, we were just praying about it. We just felt that the Lord gave us a lot of peace when we went on that campus, peace about Notre Dame ... I did not see a reason to wait if I had that peace about it.”
While Corey is excelling on the gridiron as opposed to the hardwood, the apple clearly didn't fall far from the tree in this case.

It’s hard to get excited about acquiring a role player, but for the San Antonio Spurs, landing Boris Diaw could make a big difference. Diaw isn’t going to be a big time scorer, he’s not going to fill up a stat sheet, but that’s not what the Spurs need. They have scoring. What they needed was size and depth, and now they have it.
The Spurs have been down a big man all year...

We have seen San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker pitch many things. From Tissot watches, French fast food, and more, TP isn't shy about lending himself for various advertisements.
Now, Parker has partnered with SWBC and recently shot a commercial where he is pitching ideas for a future SWBC commercial.
In Tony's mind he sees himself as a James Bond-like character working...
San Antonio Spurs fans have seen Kawhi Leonard go from unproven rookie to consistent role player in a matter of months.Leonard, the much-anticipated rookie who the Spurs picked up in a swap that gave them their highest draft selection since they selected Tim Duncan with the first pick in the 1997 NBA Draft, proved himself early on with big rebounding numbers in very little playing...
Life as an NBA player requires adjusting on the fly — not only on the court, but off of it as well. One minute you could be playing in Charlotte and the next thing you know you’re halfway across the country in San Antonio. Just ask Boris Diaw, who was released by the Bobcats and signed by the Spurs last Friday. Having played four games in five days since joining the team, Diaw...
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- The Sky's the limit for revenge-minded Notre Dame -- especially with its star guard playing like this.

Diggins did it all for the top-seeded Fighting Irish (34-3).

If you're a San Antonio Spurs fan heading out to London this summer for the 2012 Olympics, don't be surprised to hear the conductor announce that the next stop on your subway (or tube as they say in London) ride is the Manu Ginobili station, or the David Robinson station.

College football fans have long believed that year three is a critical year for a new coach in a program. At Notre Dame, coaches Ara Parseghian, Dan Devine and Lou Holtz all won National Championships in year three. Year three will be very important for current Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly, but in my opinion it's not as critical as some may lead you to believe.

The San Antonio Spurs (33-14) will look to win their sixth straight game tonight and a measure of revenge as they take on the Sacramento Kings (17-32) tonight in Sacramento.
