Pro Sports Daily:
Maybe a new coach, a new system and a new approach will change everything between the Orlando Magic and Dwight Howard. Hennigan and the next Magic coach, likely to be announced this week, are planning to meet with Howard in Los Angeles before determining the next phase of their team-building plan. The Magic were well down the road in discussions with the Brooklyn Nets earlier this month but the deal broke down. Howard said he prefers to play for the Nets, but agent Dan Fegan denied that Howard plans to sign a contract until next summer when he can become an unrestricted free agent. The NBA's schedule makers are busy piecing together each team's 82-game schedule and talking with the TV networks about the games they want. That whole process and the next stage of the NBA's summer (perhaps the first stage, the one thing that should have been done back in December if...

Houston has been a middle of the Western Conference team for the better part of a decade. Always good enough to compete for a Playoff spot, never quite good enough to...
