The Indiana Pacers missed a golden opportunity to steal Game 1 from the Heat in Miami. The Heat have not played for a week and the Pacers took them to overtime, but came up short. With the Pacers down 92-89 in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter Indiana small forward Paul George nailed a deep three-pointer with just 0.7 seconds left on the clock to force overtime. George finished with a team-high 27 points on the night and David West added 26. LeBron James wasn’t about to let his squad lose at home and rallied Miami by compiling another impressive triple-double with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. That was LeBron’s ninth postseason triple-double, tying Wilt Chamberlain for the fifth most in postseason history. LeBron’s last two points came from a strong drive to the basket that resulted in a game-winning layup and a 103-102 win for the Miami Heat. Dwyane Wade who fouled out in OT and had 19 points had this to say about LeBron, “No matter how much you watch the game or how much you have played it – you get amazed by spectacular talent. He continues to amaze the world of basketball.” On how the series will go from here Wade said, “We can expect this for seven games.” Article found on: Next Impulse Sports
