Found April 19, 2013 on Minus Twenty-Two:
From David Lee’s Instagram page, the gift that keeps giving, comes this photo of what looks like an ESPN the Magazine feature from before the season that gave the Warriors a zero percent chance to make the playoffs this season: He accompanied the photo with this message: Only fitting that our first playoff game is on ESPN, look at their preseason predictions about our squad! Go Ws! #motivation I guess this means Lee’s been hanging on to an old issue of ESPN the Magazine issue for six months just for this moment. For different reasons, that’s equal parts sad and impressive. But, really, ESPN? Zero percent? You couldn’t be more wrong. Are we sure CNN didn’t publish this? Anywho, we can’t wait for ESPN to “accidentally” replace Lee’s photo with one of Andris Biedrins on an in-game graphic. [via dlee42]

Here’s your Warriors 2013 playoff anthem

Playoff time for the Warriors. That means, in accordance with the Geneva Convention, some local unknown artist HAS to put out a playoff anthem for the team. And so here’s the Warriors’ anthem for their 2013 playoff run. It’s called “The Show” by Cap D. But Cap D isn’t some struggling local rapper the team brought in off the street. He happens to be the team’s Vice President...
