The NBA is trying to enforce flopping this season, and David Lee is apparently willing to become the league's "goon." During Saturday night's Warriors-Clippers game, Lee took some offense to Blake Griffin "acting" like he was getting pushed a little harder than he was. Mid-way through the fourth quarter, after Jamal Crawford drained a three pointer, Lee bumped into Griffin and told him to "stop flopping." During the play, Lee was bumping the Clippers' star power forward and though Griffin didn't fall down or make any of the contact too obvious, he was at least reacting to the physical play of the Warriors' power forward. Griffin was recently on Conan, saying that he got some interesting advice from Kobe Bryant on how to prevent getting fouled so often. Bryant suggested that Griffin start punching people. The NBA has set up a new system this year that would fine players for repeated flopping offenses. While the first violation simply gets a warning, penalties can cost up to $30,000. Flops cannot be ruled on the court, they will determined upon video review. Watch Lee call out Griffin in the video below.
