Anthony Davis did not play much for most of his first month or so in the NBA thanks to some injuries. As a result I think the Hornets have made a point to hold back on his minutes as he gets acclimated to the pro game. He is still having a solid rookie season with 12.5 points and 7.5 boards a game in just under 28 minutes a game. It isn't going to make him competitive for the Rookie of the Year, but it will be something he can build off of for the future. However, every so often we will get plays like the one above where he reminds us that he was the No. 1 pick in the draft for a reason.
