Coach Vinny Del Negro is proud of the Los Angeles Clippers' breakthrough season, even while he doesn't know if he'll be around for the next one. Del Negro's contract expires this summer. He led the Clippers to a club-record 56 victories and their first Pacific Division title this season, but Los Angeles lost to Memphis in six games in the first round of the playoffs. Del Negro expects to know his future fairly soon, after a conversation with owner Donald Sterling. The coach is 128-102 in three seasons in charge of the Clippers. Clippers vice president of basketball operations Gary Sacks also expects an imminent decision on Del Negro's future. Sacks also says he's ''very confident'' the club will re-sign point guard Chris Paul, an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Who Will Coach The Clippers Next?

After exiting in the first round, the Clippers historic season turned into an incredibly disappointing one. I for one have never been a fan of Del Negro’s coaching style. I think his offense is...

Chris Paul has yet to commit to re-signing with the Los Angeles Clippers, but it is considered a probable outcome. One source said that there are "too many positives" for Paul to remain with the Clippers. Another source predicted that there's "zero chance" of Paul giving up the fifth year and nearly $30 million in additional guaranteed money. The Clippers...

Del Negro's fate up in the air

PLAYA VISTA, Calif. The Clippers of two seasons ago would have been ecstatic. Fifty-six wins? Fifty-six? A winning season, a playoff berth that was enough. The Clippers of two seasons ago would be throwing parties for Vinny Del Negro if they knew what was to come. Theyd be utterly elated, one has to think, that their teams fate is about to change so drastically. This is not two...

Clippers give high praise to Eric Bledsoe

Even though he didn’t start at point guard for Kentucky, Eric Bledsoe is making a huge mark in the NBA as a backup with the Los Angeles Clippers. Blesdoe started at shooting guard because of his scoring ability, but played a little point guard at Kentucky while playing along side future #1 draft pick John Wall. In the NBA, Blesdoe is playing behind perennial all-star Chris Paul...

The season has ended for the Los Angeles Clippers, but they have an important summer ahead of them, specifically when it comes to the future of All-Star point guard Chris Paul. A pending free agent, Paul has given no indication on whether or not he’s returning to the Clippers next season, as he told reporters – including Arash Markazi of ESPN Los Angeles – that it’s going...

Clippers focused on bringing back CP3

After Chris Paul was ejected from Game Six in the Los Angeles Clippers’ first round series against the Memphis Grizzlies, some wondered if that was going to be the last image of Paul in a Clipper uniform. Paul has the option of signing a five-year, $107 million extension with the team this summer or he can test out free agency and see where he ends up. If he decides to explore...

Del Negro's coaching future still unresolved

PLAYA VISTA, Calif. Vinny Del Negros coaching future with the Clippers is unresolved, and it will probably stay that way for a while. Del Negro and his coaching staff are making their case this week in exit interviews with management, but the organizational depression over the teams first-round playoff loss to the Memphis Grizzlies is still too fresh. In the end, the Clippers...
