Hardcourt Mayhem:
DeMarcus Cousins had a monster game last night in a loss to the Jazz, having 22 points and 18 rebounds. But the big man really showed up in an amazing play in the fourth quarter. With a fast break going, the big man decided to take it for himself and ran across the court, and faking Jamaal Tinsley to get the score. The 6-11, 270-pound center displayed his inner Magic Johnson on the play.

Kirilenko's wife wears 'Scream' mask in stands
Andrei Kirilenko has one of the more unusual marriages in NBA history, and it may be the polar opposite of the immense insecurity of the infamous union between Doug Christie and his wife, Jackie. Masha Lopatova, probably best known for giving Kirilenko permission to sleep with another woman once a year, wore a Halloween mask during a Russian basketball game while her husband played...

Simply Fantastic! Jazz Outrun Nuggets
If you missed last night, you missed arguably the best game of the season. Jazz took all of Denver's punches (literally) and still kept the their wits to run Denver off the floor. If this team plays like they have over the past two weeks, come playoff time, they could beat anyone in a seven game series. If, remind you, they play like they have over the past two weeks. Devin...
POTD 3/23/12: Paul Millsap on Kenneth Faried
The Jazz have been getting notable contributions from a variety of players over the course of their current six-game win streak. Young guys like Derrick Favors, Alec Burks, and Enes Kanter have had the best nights of their young careers, and veteran point guard Jamaal Tinsley has stepped in and played excellent basketball. Paul Millsap remains Utah’s old reliable, though. ...
The Epitome of Teamwork
March 20, 2012Al Jefferson, pre-game: You gotta do whatever it takes to win. Whatever it takes to win games, to get to the Playoffs. It’s not about Al Jefferson. It’s not about Paul Millsap. It’s not about Devin. It’s about the Utah Jazz.Paul Millsap, post-game: Our team is playing great. Our bench is playing great. It’s a team effort. It’s not just me. It’s not just...
What You Need to Know about Tie-Breakers
Not only are we talking about the Utah Jazz making it into the playoffs, but the margin between 4th and 11th right now in the west is only 4 games, with anywhere between 18 and 21 games remaining for the 8 teams in this range. It’s still relatively early if you consider we are barely past the 2/3 mark of the season to start talking about such things as playoff seeding, but itâ...
