DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins reels in the offensive rebound and puts down the big dunk over the defending, Derrick Favors. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=b53tx7MbwxE This big dunk came with about 2:30 seconds left in the 3rd quarter and put the Kings up 76-72. The jam was just two of Cousins 14 points on the night. He also chipped in with 9 rebounds and the Kings won over the Utah Jazz, by a score of 108-97 on their own home floor. But then, to sum up the big fella’s NBA career in one single game, Cousins was ejected by referee Gary Zielinski with 1:35 remaining in the third quarter after he collected a personal foul against Enes Kanter. Cousins, as he often does, argued the call to no end, got slapped with a technical foul and then just pushed the envelope with official, Gary Zielinski, until he received his second T and found himself tossed from the game. Tyreke Evans came up big with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to carry Sacramento to the big win. This is Cousins second big offense on the season and his talent is once again taking a backseat to his bad attitude. Last week Cousins had a confrontation with Spurs color-man, Sean Elliot, which resulted in DeMarcus being suspended by the league for two games. It’s very apparent that the young fella has some major anger issues and will need to find a way to put a cap on his temper and just play ball. The NBA has dealt with it’s share of hot-heads and despite Cousins’ extreme talent, his lack of self control will always win the battle and the league and their way of handling headcase players will always win the war. My advice to Cousins is to simply control yourself and play the game. Don’t waste your career on nonsense. The post DeMarcus Cousins posterizes Derrick Favors appeared first on Pass The Pill.
