ESPN Chicago has an update on the Bulls Derrick Rose:
Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose did not run, but shot free throws during Thursday morning's shootaround, and is still a game-time decision to face the Boston Celtics Thursday night after missing the past three games with back spasms.
Rose didn't sound especially optimistic about his chances of playing.
"I know that it's going to be sore a little bit, but I know that I don't want to deal with it during the game, where it gets tight, then it gets irritated," Rose said. "I think I'm going to come back when I'm ready."
Take your time, Derrick. I'd hate to see you rush back and re-injure yourself.

Is Derrick paying tonight?
That was the first question asked of Tom Thibodeau during his pre-game media session. Rose’s back is the first and only thing on people’s mind in Chicago. The Bulls‘ PG missed three consecutive games with back spasms, but had taken the floor earlier than he usually does for pre-game shootaround, leading to the belief...

As far as the defensive-minded Bulls are concerned, that's as good as a loss. Derrick Rose's status is still uncertain as he continues to fight lower back soreness. Kevin Garnett is expected...
