Derrick Rose's return has been advertised through a sponsorship with Adidas, which resulted in several replays of Rose commercials of the commentator proclaiming the now infamous words "holding onto his knee, holding onto his knee and down". The commercials for "#thereturn" have stopped in the last week, but Derrick Rose is just getting started.Video footage (above) had been captured by CSNChicago showing the end of Derrick Rose on one of his sprints. With that came word that Rose will return to practice soon.Via The Chicago Sun-Times:According to an NBA source... the all-everything point guard could be just weeks away from practicing with the Bulls again after surgery on his left anterior cruciate ligament last May.Rose has been expected to be able to play in games by February, but that has been inferred more than actually stated. Even if the Bulls receive the ultimate Christmas present of getting him back on the practice court just before Dec. 25, it doesn’t mean he’s necessarily ahead of that February schedule — or behind it.General manager Gar Forman was asked if there was a timetable to Rose's return so fans had an estimate to rely on rather than guesses, but Forman simply replied back, "We’re still taking the process step by step, and a date hasn't been set".Ricky Rubio, who tore his ACL a month and a half before Rose had started sprinting about two months ago. He recently returned to practice with the Timberwolves and is expected to play within a couple of weeks. Of course, Derrick Rose and Ricky Rubio are distinctly different players with different body builds, but a similar expectation can be set for Rose on his return. As mentioned in the video, this does not mean that Rose will return within a month, or if his return will be delayed. This is just a checkpoint in his progression. However, it is likely, considering the path that Rubio took and Rose's progression, NBA fans will likely see Rose back in NBA action before February.Follow @hoopsinjurynews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://www.nbainjurynews.com//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-34100676-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? Rip Hamilton Out Indefinitely
Without Derrick Rose for the first half of the season (at least), the Bulls have relied on a collective effort on the offensive end to make up for their leading scorer. One of those bench members will have to step...

Box Score: Bulls 95, Cavaliers 85
Well, this was pretty much a standard Cavs vs Bulls game. That makes 10 straight losses to the Bulls and the Cavaliers were never truly in this game.
