Friday night didn’t start well for the Pistons and with the NBA’s best team in town it seemed like there was a good chance the night wouldn’t end well either.
Heading into tonight’s contest against the Spurs, the Pistons got some disappointing news learning that they’d be without rookie center Andre Drummond for 4-6 weeks with a fractured tailbone. In recent days it was clear that Drummond was suffering from a back injury that in turn limited his game especially down low in the paint. Unfortunate considering the rookie seemed to be way ahead of schedule in terms of his overall development.

But how would this carry over to the matchup with the Spurs, a team that had won it’s previous 11 games?
