It's a girl! Congratulations are in order for Mavs superstar Dirk Nowitzki and his wife Jessica Olsson. The couple welcomed their new baby girl into the world on Wednesday, July 24th. Neither of the first-time parents have spoken about the joyous occasion, but Dirk's father revealed the news in a German newspaper. "I am proud to be a grandfather for the third time," Nowitzki's father,Jrg, said. Nowitzki's sister, Silke, has two children. The name of the baby hasn't been released yet, though Mavs beat writer Bryan Gutierrez says that the baby's name is Malaika meaning "Angel" or Good Spirit." That bit of information hasn't been confirmed anywhere, but t's probably safe to assume it won't be called North West or George Alexander Louis.
