One minute you’re on top of the world, the next minute peel-and-stick tattoos bearing your jersey number are marked 50% off at a store in Times Square. What a fickle mistress fame can be. Particularly in New York. Now hipsters in New York will only purchase Jeremy Lin’s New York Knicks jersey for the irony [...]

  • Its not Lins fault, Carmello Anthony is such a ball hog it kills the team ball that Lin and the Knicks were playing-all these losses have happened since Anthony came back. NY should look to trade him-ALOT of guys could score as much as him if they had the conscience to shoot that much.
  • LOL that is why EVERY GAME Lin shoots more then Melo.
  • Oh and he also is a TO king
  • Lin didn't have enough time to get comfortable with the ball. Melo doesn't play defense except when he WANTS to. He makes entirely too much $ to be a 1 dimensional player, which is essentially what he is. Honestly, Melo would be better suited to come off the bench and torch other teams for 15 - 20 points a game and give Amare, Lin & Co. an opportunity to win games through much more selfless play.
  • The problem with Jeremy Lin is that he is not strong enough to play the number of minutes that the Knicks have been playing him. With his aggressive style, he can't play more than 30 minutes a game and be effective.....especially this season where the schedule is condensed. Maybe next year he will grow into a first rate starting point guard. The best thing for him this year is the emergence of Baron Davis to spell him.
  • This season has had negative effects on nearly everyone. Injuries abound. They were foolish to put 66 games in. I think 60 or even 50 would have been more appropriate. Furthermore, all of the players under a full season contract are being paid for an 82 game schedule this season.
  • I wonder if his brothers futon is still available. Lightning in a bottle!
  • i dont think ANYBODY wants anthony,or at least they shouldnt!! he should remember iverson, who thought he was the best thing since sliced bread!! how'd that work out for him!!
  • Hoops suck on every level. It is a dull and boring sport no matter who is playing. I will never understand the appeal for this sleeper sport. A bunch of mutants who sound like squeaking mice who score 50 times a game??? Boring!! Hate it. A complete waste of time and money.
  • Then go back to your lacrosse games, where the players have tea parties and group hug sessions after the games.
