One - That's one good half from you guys this year As he always seems to do, Doc Rivers spoke the truth at this morning's shoot around when asked about his 3-3 team. Telling the press that the Celts were "Still looking for [them]selves". However Doc also liked what he saw in the 2nd half against the Bucks on Saturday night, a half that saw the C's outscore a solid Milwaukee team 57-50, I just like the fact that I thought in the Milwaukee game in the second half we played more like the team we can be Whether they understand that or not, we’ll find that out. I just thought that’s the closest I’ve seen us as a team this year. I've got to agree with the good doctor on this one, the C's have now played 12 halves of basketball this season, and the 2nd half in Milwaukee was the best of the bunch (I know, that's not saying much). Words like “heart”, “defensive intensity” and “fight”...

Celtics win by holding off Bulls' late rally

CHICAGO - No one knows the vaunted defensive system of Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau quite as well as Boston's Doc Rivers. Thibodeau was a Celtics assistant from 2007 to 2010 and the two won an NBA championship together in 2008. Boston tore up that defense to the tune of 58 points and 59.5 percent shooting in the first half to take control of Monday's game at the...
