Los Angeles Clippers owner, Black History Month expert, and all-around horrible person Donald Sterling is basking in the glory of the run-and-gun stylings of Lob City these days. But you’ll have to forgive him (just kidding…you don’t have to forgive him for anything!) if he has a bit of a pouty face this evening after a Los Angeles jury awarded a former tenant $17.3 million in a lawsuit stemming from a fire in a West Hollywood apartment building he owns. Actress Robyn Cohen sued Sterling after the 2009 electrical fire, claiming a fire alarm horn and a dozen smoke detectors in the building didn’t work. The jury awarded Cohen $15 million in her breach-of-contract and emotional distress lawsuit on Tuesday — the other $2.3 million in general damages was awarded on Monday. Other tenants sued, but settled out of court. via ESPN Article found on: Cosby Sweaters

An epic night for Paul and the Clippers

"I'm not really practicing on the court yet," Billups said. "When I get to do that, then we can assess that." Billups said the team doctors and Clippers trainer Jasen Powell have recommended...

Blake Griffin Throws Down Alley-Oop Off Backboard From Matt Barnes (Video)

Just by looking at all the highlights Blake Griffin provided in Monday’s win over the Pistons, somebody might get the impressions that the Los Angeles Clippers forward played well. He didn’t, getting only 15 points and four rebounds in 28 minutes, but in Griffin’s case quality, not quantity, mattered. The most exciting moment came in the fourth quarter, when the Clippers forced...

Blake Griffin with another highlight dunk

The Los Angeles Clippers are the hottest team in the NBA right now winning 10 in a row. They got that 10th win with an 88-76 win over the Detroit Pistons last night. In that game to no surprise Blake Griffin had another highlight dunk. Griffin came up with a steal and then led the Clippers on a 3 on 0 fast-break. He passed the ball to Matt Barnes who then threw it off the backboard...

Damian Lillard, Joakim Noah, Jamal Crawford Claim NBA Quarter-Season Awards (Photos)

Every team has now played at least 20 games, which means that the NBA season is officially one-quarter of the way complete. The league does not recognize quarter-season achievements, most likely because they want to save all that money it would take to produce those extra trophies, but that is no reason the rest of us cannot recognize these early-season performances. After all, none...

Blake Griffin gets wild with an off-the-glass alley oop (VIDEO)

Blake Griffin turned Auburn Hills, MI into Lob City in the last 30 seconds of the Clippers 88-76 win over the Pistons Monday night.  Griffin finished the tilt with two dunks, including an ridiculous catch and stuff from an off-the-backboard lob by teammate Matt Barnes.
