I admit I didn´t really know much about Donatas Motiejunas two weeks ago. Hell, nobdy knew much about him except his mother and the 3 members of his fan club but I read up on him and now I know lots of stuff! For starters, he´s just 22 years old and was born in Lithuania. He´s also really, really tall. Like 7´0 tall! That´s pretty damn tall! He´s also Houston´s new starting power forward so he should be grabbed in all 12 team leagues right now. What I think he can give you is very European of him. Over his last 2 games he´s averaged 24.5 mpg/12 ppg/6.5 rpg/3 3pa/1.5 3pm/0 blocks and .5 spg. Small sample I know. It´s only two games! But you can clearly see Donatas can get you low double digit points, 6-7 rpg and possibly 2 3pm per. That´s some useful stuff! As for Thomas Robinson, if you´re holding him you have to make the move for Donatas. Short term it´s the only right thing to do. Long term (in a month?) you may be reading right here to go the other way but we´ll worry about that ...
BEST OF MAXIM
LONG ROAD AHEAD
Royce White has a fear of flying and likes to drive to games if possible. He even was making a 34-hour ride to play in a D-League game.
Thomas Robinson's path to a starting job may not be as easy as first thought. Rookie Donatas Motiejunas got his first start, played 26 minutes and posted a nice stat line: 13 points (4-of-9 field goals and 4-of-4 free throws), a three, seven rebounds, five assists and a steal.
Motiejunas did something Robinson couldn't -- stretch the floor (a not-so-secret weakness...
It wouldn't be a week here on That NBA Lottery Pick without a moment from Houston Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin and earlier tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks, he had a pretty assist. After Lin got a steal off a bad pass by the Bucks, he found Chandler Parsons in transition with a behind-the-back fast break assist:
The pipeline between the Houston Rockets and Sacramento Kings is still open. A week after a six-player trade that sent No. 5 pick Thomas Robinson to H-Town, the Kings bought out reserve -- and sometimes starting --point guard Aaron Brooks Friday.
Brooks is expected to sign with his old team, the Houston Rockets, when he clears waivers early next week, Yahoo Sports' Adrian...
As a Houston Rockets fan this one kind of sucks, but as a fan of the game I have to appreciate the fact that this shot actually went in giving the Bucks the win over Houston Wednesday night, 110-107.
Good job Monta Ellis. Good job.
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- James Harden had 24 points, and Chandler Parsons and Carlos Delfino added 21 apiece as the Houston Rockets rallied in the fourth quarter for a 118-110 victory over the Orlando Magic on Friday night.
The Rockets stopped a two-game skid and ended a five-game losing streak to the Magic. Houston trailed by two late in the game, before using an 11-0 run to seize...
Clinging to the Western Conference's final playoff spot, the Houston Rockets know they must capitalize on prime opportunities to pick up victories.
Houston seeks a sixth straight home win while avoiding a second consecutive loss to a sub-.500 opponent as it hosts the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.
The Rockets (31-27) lead the ninth-place Los Angeles Lakers by three games...
Tweet In a battle of teams who currently hold the eighth spot in their respective conferences, the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Houston Rockets 110-107 Wednesday thanks to one of the craziest game-winning shots you’ll see this season. It wasn’t the best looking end-of-game possession you’re going to see, but the two guys you figured [...]
The Houston Rockets are looking to put a couple of disappointing losses behind them.
Doing so, however, could prove more difficult than usual with their star-studded backcourt banged up.
James Harden and Jeremy Lin are considered game-time decisions for Friday night's road matchup against the woeful Orlando Magic.
The Rockets (31-28) blew 17-point leads in each of their last...
The Rockets are reportedly set to sign point guard, Aaron Brooks, who agreed to a buyout with the Sacramento Kings Friday. Brooks was drafted twenty-sixth overall in the 2007 NBA draft by Houston where he played for three and half seasons before being traded to Phoenix.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports:
The Houston Rockets will sign guard Aaron Brooks, league sources...
Milwaukee Bucks guard Monta Ellis nailed a game winning three pointer at the buzzer Wednesday night against the Houston Rockets. Reminded me of pretty much every three pointer Reggie Miller took with his fade away style.

Bucks 110 Rockets 107 Wow. Since the All Star break, practically every contest has come down to the wire; the Bucks have been on the wrong side of the final tally. The last three have been decided by less than three points. Against Houston, the Bucks finally came out on top with a [...]
