Darius Miles. Jonathan Bender. Sebastian Telfair.
All there players jumped straight from High School to the NBA and were lottery picks. To say that they didn’t live up to expectations would be like saying that people in Cleveland were only slightly displeased with Lebron James decision to take his services to South Beach. We would draft Jonathan Bender, resign Sebastian Telfair, and cut Darius Miles.
Jonathan Bender definitely was the worst player of the three. He played seven seasons with the Pacers and one with the Knicks. Over that time he only played in 262 games and started 28. With 656 games possible to have played in over that time Bender only appeared in 42% of the games, starting just 4% of them. Those numbers are actually a good thing considering how poor of an NBA player he was. He shot only 41% from the field, never averaged more than 7.4 ppg, and was more worthless than Allan Houston dishing the ball and on the boards (which is extremely hard to do). Since he was injur...

The Miami Heat almost let one slip to the Charlotte Bobcats. The Heat staged a HUGE comeback DWade hit a HUGE basket, he gave Cam Newton his superman-touchdown move.
Was Cam popping trash at DWade and LeBron? That was totally planned right? Interesting! I’m already in LOVE with this NBA season. Yes, even with Lakers struggles.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flatter – last night in Charlotte, the stars of the Miami Heat, Dwayne Wade and LeBron James decided they’d rather be like Cam, who was again sitting with Charlotte Bobcats’ owner Michael Jordan…Wade hit the game winning shot, and did Cam’s signature pose right in front of the NFL’s rookie star…The...
LeBron James’ focus on attacking the basket and generating offense out of the post resulted in 19 free-throw attempts against the Mavericks.
This is the best block of the year. Guaranteed. Even though it should have been a bucket. LeBron James‘ powerful dunk is blocked by the head of the Bobcats Gerald Henderson. The ball went through the basket as Henderson tried to go for the traditional block but it hits his head and bounces out. The…
Kevin Harlan has had some very notable calls over the course of his broadcasting career, especially the "With no regard for human life" call of LeBron James' slam dunk over Kevin Garnett in the 2007 NBA Playoffs. Last night he dropped another gem during the Lakers-Jazz broadcast.

Tom Haberstroh has some thoughts on the Miami Heat’s new “Pace and Space” offense after the Heat’s opening-day blowout of the defending champion Dallas Mavericks. Here’s a quick excerpt from his post, which starts with a description of LeBron James drawing a foul on a fast break after a made basket: LeBron blurred past the…
Stocking Stuffer of NBA Games
Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton sat courtside and saw Dwayne Wade and LeBron James steal his "Superman pose" and a victory Wednesday night in Charlotte.
It was all set up for the Bobcats to win a big home game against the Miami Heat. The crowd was behind them. It was the largest home attendance for any Bobcats home game in history. The Bobcats jumped to an 11-0 lead....
