The Los Angeles Lakers needed Dwight Howard to step up. Trailing by two points with under two minutes to go against the defending champion Heat, Howard was at the line shooting two free throws to tie the game. Instead, he airballed the first and bricked the second. The Heat ended up pulling away from the Lakers at that point, and L.A. never scored again the rest of the way in a 99-90 loss.
