The NBA Passionista:
We often chide Russell Westbrook or Dwyane Wade for their fashion blunders, but let’s not forget the decisive Dwight Howard. I present this picture without comment, but he kinda looks like those American Girl dolls. The post Dwight Howard blames Los Angeles Lakers losses on his poor conditioning appeared first on Players View Dot Net.
The struggles of Dwight Howard and the Lakers don’t have anything to do with coaching changes, disagreements with Kobe Bryant, or injuries, but they have everything to do with candy.
According to ESPN.com, Howard revealed in an interview that his poor conditioning and inconsistent energy may have been the cause of some of the Lakers’ losses this season.
If you ever wondered (you shouldn’t by now) why I say take everything that Dwight Howard says with a grain of salt, here is the reason why.
Dwight Howard says he is the future of the #lakers, “Yeah, I do. That’s what we always talked about since the first day I got here.” #lakers

Sounds promising Lakers Fans right? But…………...
Los Angeles Lakers forward Metta World Peace was woken up by several police officers Tuesday morning because three actors decided to rehearse a scene for his movie at his Westside condo complex, according to the Los Angeles Times.

You know your season is going pretty bad when your coach is yelling at you during the All-Star Game.
After all, the weekend is supposed to be a time to relax and kick back a little bit. Yes, there are those required media appearances and the game itself, but that is supposed to be low stress and a good time. The perfect environment for the happy-go-lucky Dwight Howard.
Los Angeles Lakers center admits he was out of shape before the season, which he says has cost the team some victories. "You've got to have energy and I want to bring that energy every night," Howard said in a revealing interview
Playing in their first game since owner Jerry Buss died, the Los Angeles Lakers played like a team Wednesday night in an emotional 113-99 victory over their greatest rival, the Boston Celtics.
Dwight Howard led the team with 24 points and 12 rebounds,
If the Los Angeles Lakers are exploring the possibility of trading Dwight Howard before the trade deadline on Thursday, they don’t want anyone to know about it. During an interview with ESPN’s Colin Cowherd on Wednesday, Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak had nothing but praise for his center.
In fact, praise would be an understatement. Kupchak said the team has no intention...
Mitch Kupchak stressed Dwight Howard will fully recover at some point and that the center will be a major part of the Lakers' future.
After all of this afternoon's trepidation over the trade deadline, the Celtics failed to come away with any of the supposed big names: Josh Smith, Dwight Howard, Eric Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan. But it also means that franchise cornerstones Truth and KG remain in Green. Not a bad take away from a rather nerve-wracking couple of weeks. #BleedGreen!

You knew that the Lakers and their fans would be emotional tonight, and that L.A. would feed off of it, but the Celtics showed little resistance. Call it “tired legs”, second night of a back-to-back, blah blah. Boston just did not play defense tonight. Period. They fall 113-99 on L.A.
As Doc told his troops at halftime, “they’re getting whatever they want..” Couldn’t...
Earlier on TNLP, we posted the Atlanta Hawks fans booing LeBron James after a rather ordinary dunk on a fastbreak attempt.Well, LeBron made up for it in the second quarter of play as a off-the-backboard alley-oop from teammate Dwyane Wade got the Phillips Arena rocking:
CORAL GABLES, Fla. How big have the second-ranked Hurricanes become in Miami?
The Heat are getting ideas from them.
Heat stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade attended the Feb. 9 game between the Miami and North Carolina. When Hurricanes guard Shane Larkin threw a pass off the backboard on a fastbreak to center Kenny Kadji for a dunk, James and Wade went wild. They went crazy again...
I’m not sure why I wrote “cute” in the headline, since “cute” and “sea otter” are synonymous, but I just wanted to make sure you watched this. In the video is Eddie, a 16-year-old sea otter who lives at the Oregon Zoo. Eddie has arthritis in his elbows, so his caretakers taught him to play basketball to help with his condition. The little guy gets tossed a toy basketball...
