It has been a tough year for Dwight Howard and the Los Angeles Lakers– and Sunday was no different.
L.A.’s turbulent season came to a fitting end as the Lakers were blown out and swept by the Spurs 103-82 at the Staples Center on Sunday night.
One of the sideshows in this drama came in the third period, when Howard was ejected. The Lakers center was upset about a non-call when he was tangled up with San Antonio big man Aron Baynes under the basket. Howard said something to the officials and picked up two technicals within seconds of each other at the 9:51 mark of the quarter.
Both commentators and spectators looked baffled by Howard’s argument. With the big man becoming an unrestricted free agent after the season it could be the last we see of Howard wearing the Forum Blue and gold.

Coming off his embarrassing first season with the Los Angeles Lakers, where the Lakers barely made the playoffs only to be swept by the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the playoffs, Dwight Howard has asked Lakers fans to give him another chance to make it up to them, but apparently his beautiful girlfriend wants him to leave the Lakers for something "even better...

Tim Duncan is 97 years old and playing at a ridiculously high title-winning level; while Superman has had his struggles. It’s like the old bull watching the young bull pout after not realizing how hard trying to win an NBA Championship would be.
Metta World Peace believes that Dwight Howard is getting too much of the heat. “I think we put a little too much pressure on Dwight and as responsible leaders, we gave him a little too much responsibility,” said World Peace. “Kobe (Bryant), Pau (Gasol) and myself, we weren’t responsible enough. We should have been louder [...]

One thing, should be made clear. Regardless of how you feel about Dwight’s clown like behavior, 6 hidden Baby Mamas, limited post game and wishy-washy comments, he is still, pretty clearly the best center in the NBA.
He definitely has room for improvement, be it mentally and physically, but he is a very good player. He is going to be a max player wherever he plays next year.
Magic: "I've never let my team down"
Dwight Howard was ejected from Game 4 between the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs at Staples Center after receiving his second technical foul, and two notable occurrences happened afterwards.
With the Lakers down 55-34 in the third quarter, Howard got tangled with Aron Baynes. He appeared to be upset about not getting a call and he must have said something to an official...
Dwight Howard pulled a typical Dwight Howard move during Game 4, getting ejected and quite possibly walking off the court as a Laker for the last time.

The Lakers got the last thing they ever needed was Kobe Bryant going down. The second to last thing they needed was to lose Dwight Howard in an elimination game due to a second technical foul early in the second half.
It has been a rough season for Dwight Howard. Heck, its been a rough couple of years for the big man. From his inglorious departure from Orlando to his landing...
The Los Angeles Lakers enter an uncertain offseason that will be dictated by their ability to re-sign Dwight Howard.
"We're very confident that we can build around Dwight Howard," said Mitch Kupchak.
Kupchak had a long conversation with Howard on Tuesday that he felt went well. Kupchak did confess that it is difficult for him to be fully confident of Howard returning...
The questions started almost as soon as Dwight Howard was ejected from Sunday's Game Four loss to the Spurs: Will Dwight Howard re-sign with the Lakers?
Of all the players who struggled on the Lakers and led to this disappointing season, Howard was alone with the most to lose. His legacy was not set and would be written in the coming months and years. And in 2012-13, he failed...
Sunday night the L.A. Lakers were swept from the playoffs and went out with a thud. After already losing Kobe Bryant for the season and playing without Steve Nash, Steve Blake and Metta World Peace among others the Lakers hopes rested squarely on the shoulders of Dwight Howard and Pau Gasol.
Now I for one have not been a Howard supporter. I do believe he is very overrated and wouldn’t...
