Dwight Howard has issued an apology to Los Angeles Lakers’ fans via Twitter. Howard apologized for the way his season (and possible Laker career) ended during game 4 of their series against the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the 2013 NBA Playoffs. Howard and the Lakers were swept by the Spurs in the first round, and Howard was ejected (two technical fouls) with 9:51 to go in the 3rd quarter. This could be Dwight’s final game with the Lakers, as he will enter free agency this summer. Howard hints towards wanting to stay in LA and apologizes to Lakers’ fans for a disappointing season, and the way the final game of the Lakers’ 2012-13 season ultimately went down. Im still upset about tonights game and the way this season ended. Im mad I lost my cool. Im sorry for letting my team and our fans down when — Dwight Howard (@DwightHoward) April 29, 2013   when they needed me the most. If there’s one thing I’ve learned this year its that I need to be more responsible for my actions and learn to — Dwight Howard (@DwightHoward) April 29, 2013   Dwight also speaks about the possibility of Yoga to calm himself down a bit, and in true Dwight Howard fashion, makes a joke about joining Charlie Sheen for Anger Management. If you take him at his word, then you have nothing to worry about, but somewhere in Orlando the fans are chuckling at the thought of taking Howard at face value. Howard said many of the same things to the fans and city of Orlando before he bounced to LA and never looked back. Howard is a puzzling guy, and whether or not he’ll remain true to his word is surely up for debate at this point.
