There is no doubting that Lebron James has been scrutinized over the last two years. From his controversial “the decision” special to his telling fans that they have to “wake up to their lives tomorrow” after being eliminated from the NBA finals last year, Lebron James has not made many fans outside of South Beach.
This year however things changed. There was a “passing of the torch” for most hated player in the NBA by fans. You see last year’s loss in the finals humbled Lebron and this year he came out a whole new man. He spent the offseason working on his flaws on and off the court. From working on his low post game to saying what seemed like all the right things, people couldn’t help but begin to feel happy for Lebron and feel some vindication for him when the Miami Heat won the NBA Championship this year.

Magic mum on Howard's future
Dwight Howard is still a member of the Orlando Magic.
It would have been hard to predict that with the acrimonious dialogue between the franchise and the Magic since the end of last season. It seems like reports had Howard out of Orlando on at least two occassions this offseason.
Yet, when Orlando could not find any offers it liked in late June, the Magic put the trade talks...
LeBron James, Kevin Durant & James Harden hit a London club before thrashing Nigeria
Before the U.S. thrashed Nigeria 156-73- doubling the point spread which was 42 – LeBron, KD and James Harden hit the streets of London Wednesday night, hitting up “The Funky Buddha” nightclub. I’m lowkey loving that they went out rocking Team USA fashion. The continuing evolution of “Nerd chic,” this time track jackets and slim [...]

The USA Olympic Basketball team turn up after 2am for last orders at Funky Buddha in Mayfair. Finding it hard to be discreet due to their height, club goers seemed bemused that they should be out partying before the games are over — Not sure what the dress policy is in a London club, but it seems Bron don’t care. -TO

Sometimes Kings don’t always get what they want. LeBron James, a new NBA champion, with a renewed sense of confidence, was bold enough to ask out swimmer Lauren Purdue for dinner. According to Business Insider, she turned it down. “”He was kind of joking but he was basically like, ‘Would you like to come eat with me at the dining hall?’ And...
LeBron James Got Denied From a Dinner Date
LeBron James just got turned down from a dinner date. Yes, LeBron is engaged to his high school girlfriend, but he still got the big red card from a fellow Olympian.
U.S. swimmer Lauren Perdue tweeted that LeBron asked her to grab some dinner at the Olympic Village dining hall. Perdue then said,
He was kind of joking. But he was basically like, ‘Would you like to come eat...
DJ Delz: “Imagine if Lebron James went to the Celtics”
When Ray Allen left Boston for the Miami Heat, my first thought was: “Damn we’re going to miss his clutch 3′s.” My second thought was: “Damn I’m really going to miss his sweet J’s.” No..not those J’s-his Jordans. During his time with the Celtics, Ray wore some sweet Air Jordan player exclusives. I doubt we will ever see a better selection of kicks than we did...
Slow Mo Olympic Video: LeBron James and Kevin Durant Get Bromantic
Slow Mo Olympic Video: LeBron James and Kevin Durant Get Bromantic In real life they looked at each other for one quick second. In Olympic slow motion, with the music behind it, their gaze had much more behind it. They got bromantic. The Miami vs Thunder stuff was left in the States. This is London [...]

LeBron James and Team USA cruised to an EIGHTY-THREE-POINT victory over Nigeria on Thursday night. Their 156 points is an Olympic Record along with the 29 three-pointers! It looks like the USA came to dominate. Carmelo Anthony had a team high of 37 points, followed by Russel Westbrook with 21.
US starts slow, then rolls over Tunisia
LeBron James and Kobe Bryant took a seat, then the U.S. Olympic basketball team took control.
The Americans got their expected blowout and fans got the show they came to see in the 110-63 win over Tunisia, but only after U.S. coach Mike Krzyzewski started his reserves to open the second half after a lackluster first 20 minutes.
Finally pulling away behind the second unit's...

U.S. swimmer Lauren Perdue says she turned down LeBron James’ dinner request because she had a curphew
Before we get into this, let us just remind everyone that it is possible to be friendly and invite someone to dinner without having an ulterior motive. As we know, LeBron James is an engaged man. Last week before the Olympics began, LeBron met US swimmer Lauren Perdue, as the photo evidence above from Perdue’s Twitter account proves. As it turns out, LeBron asked the 21-year...
“Dreaming Team”: Why 2012 Team USA Couldn’t Beat The Dream Team
It has been a subject of much debate. LeBron James and Kobe Bryant have made their feelings known. The question: Who would win if matched up; the 1992 Dream Team or their 2012 counterparts? And while this 2012 squad is unbelievably talented, and should win the gold medal without any real problems, the answer to the above is not even up for conversation. The Dream Team wins, and wins...
Sexy Dance 4: Miami Heat
Again, another post that has nothing to do with fantasy basketball… But I think this is amusing.
Since I’m vacationing in Paris (hence the 8 a Huit Blogiversary celebration and getting to see Tony Parker interviewed in French), I get to see a lot shirts with weird English phrases on them as well as the translations of movie titles…
Now, I’m not really a connoisseur of the...
