Dwight Howard need to just chill out on the beach somewhere, and run anytime someone with a camera or recorder comes near him. He took ou an ad in the Orlando Sentinal thanking the city of Orlando and its fans.

“To play the game of basketball in the NBA is a blessing and to have had the opportunity to play before the Orlando fans for eight years was truly a privilege and an honor. Words cannot express the love that I have for Orlando. With your support we have done great things in this city from hanging banners to impacting our youth. Although my career with the Magic has come to a close, my love for the city and the people that make it beautiful will never end.”

While Dwight may truly have enjoyed his time and love Orlando, how much of what he says do you really believe that comes out of his mouth? He could tell me the sky is blue and I’ll have to ask someone else for confirmation. The best thing he can do right now, is just be quiet and ball out. He’s not going to talk himself back into the hearts of fans, the only way is to win. Case in point, LeBron.

Sometimes you have to just let the relationship be what it is. If the opportunity comes where it can be fixed, then go forward, but all these wishy washy statements have to stop.
