Now this video here, this video is interesting for several reasons. It shows so much about Dwight Howard, who very well may be the player who can push LA back into championship contention. What’s odd about this visit to China is, Dwight just cancelled a kids basketball camp in Orlando citing that he needed “to remain in Southern California to rehabilitate his surgically repaired back”.
What’s also interesting about this video (aside from Dwight’s continous lack of free throw skill) is it seems to show the same ol’ goofy ass Dwight Howard. I understand that it’s a promotional gig but the antics are quite intact. He seems to have the same childish demeanor. This is something that has had Laker fans worried for weeks. How many games in the season until that moment where Kobe lays out Dwight in the lockerroom and sets him straight?
Because this Dwight Howard in this video isn’t prepared for the seriousness of the Mamba. That’s championship blood running through Kobe...

Dwight Howard blocks kids shot during a fun game of Pop-A-Shot
Remember when we were kids at the arcade shooting mini size balls against each other? Well this lucky kid has a story or two, that he can brag to his friends the next time Pop-A-Shot gets weaved into the conversation! The lucky lad got to not only play hoops with Dwight Howard, but also get his shot...
So imagine if you are a kid, just playing a pop-a-shot arcade game, knocking down some shot when Los Angeles Lakers' Dwight Howard comes in and proceeds to block your shots.
Well that's exactly what happened while Howard was in China playing a game of Pop-a-Shot versus a fan.
In the video below, Howard is clearly not taking the challenge seriously as he is taking...
And now, from SoB’s “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know” news department, additional evidence has surfaced that clearly confirms that yes, Dwight Howard is an utter douchebag. Howard, who torpedoed the Orlando Magic’s potential for success with his selfishness all last season by waxing incessantly about the many options he had related to what team [...]
I thought the summary for this video of newly-minted Los Angeles Laker Dwight Howard playing Pop-A-Shot with a kid during a shoe company-sponsored promotional tour of China would be pretty straight-forward (“here’s Dwight Howard doing a thing, everybody”), but I keep noticing funny things about it.Firstly, it’s from the amazingly-named “funneyballchannel”. Secondly,...
Dwight Howard continues to rehabilitate from his back surgery in the Westwood area of Los Angeles.
Earlier in the week, Orlando Magic star Dwight Howard was over in China and got a chance to face some Chinese kids in a game of Pop-A-Shot at Shangai Station. However, D-12 showed off his defensive prowless in the below game and cheated a child out of a victory:
Yeah, he may very well be the reason LA will win it all this year. But this moronic fashion statement Dwight displays has apparently been picked up by Adias to market.
I introduce to you….the “Geek Up” t-shirt, yes folks, this is real.
Lakers fans, please do all your shopping at the Lakers Nation store, like normal people.
Dwight Howard donning his Los Angeles Lakers jersey is in China on a promotional tour and while he was in Shanghai, he game of pop-a-shot. Notice, the individual beside him hitting shot after shot. Hack-A-Howard, anyone?
Charles Oakley is not impressed with Dwight Howard’s antics – who was – but the legendary former Knicks star thinks the Orlando Magic should’ve dealt with Dwight like you do a toddler who has a temper tantrum, put him in timeout. “A lot of guys cry in this league these days. I try not to [...]
Is that Spike Lee or Dwight Howard T?
On Thursday night, Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak pulled out his batters helmet and helmet to cap off a home run summer with a grand slam deal by exchanging Dwight Howard for Andrew Bynum without giving up Pau Gasol. In a historical context, his haul is only the fourth time in NBA history that a franchise added two players with
Dwight Howard, Pau Gasol, Steve Nash and Kobe Bryant will make the new-look Los Angeles Lakers a heavy favorite to not only win the Western Conference but the NBA crown as well. However, being overlooked are the defending West champs - Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Thunder have remained in tact, re-signed Serge Ibaka, and after a long march in the playoffs last season, they...
