By all means, Dad, defend this It's hard to imagine that Dwight Howard could have sunk any lower in the eyes of the public after last year's do se do with Orlando, but oh, man alive, has he fallen off a cliff or what?Start with on the court, where the slash line of 16/12/2/2/1 (points, boards, assists, blocks, steals) is, well, the worst he's done since his second year in the league. And that's the best part of the deal. Shooting 57% from the floor sounds like a win, but when you are sub 50% from the line and a black hole (nearly twice as many turnovers as assists), it's really not that much of a win. The fouls are up nearly 1 a game despite being on the floor five less minutes a game, and he just fails the eye test on every level. There's no lift here any more, no explosion, no cover-up for defense challenged teammates. Hell, Howard dragged a 3 Or Nothing Magic team to an NBA Finals where he didn't have a Hall of Fame back court preventing any kind of d...

Lakers rumors: Dwight Howard to re-sign with LA?

It’s been anything but a smooth ride since Dwight Howard was acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers, leading many to speculate he could be traded or at least allowed to walk at the end of the season. Kobe: I'm done voicing opinions about Dwight

MIAMI -- The dust certainly didn't settle after the Lakers eked out a win against the lowly Charlotte Bobcats, not when Dwight Howard's father injected himself into his son's awkward relationship with Kobe Bryant. The elder Howard said his son needed to sit down with Bryant to hash out their differences. He also said Coach Mike D'Antoni wasn't being assertive...

Steve Nash Also Frustrated With Dwight Howard

When Steve Nash is yelling at you then you know the problem is probably you, not whoever else you are blaming. Steve Nash one of the most unselfish players in the NBA, so if he is also complaining about Dwight’s lack of effort that is a serious problem. I thought it was an isolated incident what happened in the Heat game when Dwight didn’t do much to help Nash when he was being...
