On Tuesday, March 12, Dwight Howard will make his much-anticipated return to the city of Orlando to take the court at the Amway Center as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. A nightmare 2011-12 season filled with speculation, conjecture and controversy ultimately led to the Magic dealing the apparently disgruntled center to the Lakers on Aug. 10, 2012 and fans likely circled the date on the calendar when Howard would come back as a differently uniformed enemy as soon as the NBA schedule was released. As part of the buildup to what certainly will be a potentially toxic scene that will in all likelihood culminate with boos raining down upon Howard as he steps on the hardwood, the Orlando Sentinel’s Mike Bianchi penned a scathing commentary that speaks on behalf of all Magic fans felt wronged by the center’s antics and ultimate exodus out of Florida. Published in the paper on Thursday, “Dwight Howard has alienated everybody he ever knew in Orlando: He owes entire city an apology,” Bi...

In light of Dwight Howard's recent disparaging comments about his former teammates in Orlando, Jameer Nelson has come out with some scathing advice for his old running partner.
Since the All-Star break, the Lakers are 7-2. A resurgent Dwight Howard has been a major part of the Lakers' run.
Something clicked for Howard in Houston during All-Star weekend.
"I stayed in the hotel and just thought about the first half of the season and what I could do better. How I could be better for our team." said the Lakers center. "I just told myself...
Metta World Peace - the mentor?
World Peace, who just over a month ago was suspended one game after landing a subtle uppercut to the jaw of Detroit's Brandon Knight, has taken on the role of molding Dwight Howard into a team leader.
Coming from a guy who has a record 11 league-mandated suspensions since 2003, and is just one flagrant foul away from another, this should be...
Why is Dwight texting Phil? And why can't he just be quiet?
It looks like Dwight Howard is trying to go back on a statement he made a couple of days. After referring to his former Orlando Magic teammates as “nobodies” D12 is trying to clear the air on what he really meant. It’s funny how celebrities always claim that their quote was taken out of context, [...]
If you’d stumbled upon an off-key parody song about Dwight Howard throwing the Orlando Magic under the bus set to Cee Lo Green’s 2010 hit ‘F**k Forget You,’ you’d probably say “wow, this is dumb,” followed by “this must be pretty old” and “some weird Internet guy made this.” But no, here is a Dwight Howard ‘Forget You’ parody song made with South Park technology...
I would hope that Dwight Howard is starting to figure things out, but because he talks so much and contradict himself so often, you have to wonder.
Dwight spoke to the media again and said that it took him half the season, but he understands now what Kobe was saying about keeping the clown act in Orlando.
“It’s going to make me a better man and a better player from watching Kobe...
Dwight Howard has received backlash from former Orlando Magic teammates because of his comments saying they were "a team full of people nobody wanted."
I know it is LA and the Lakers, but Dwight seems to have a lot to say, all the time. His former teammate Jameer Nelson says he talks too much to the media and grow up. He isn’t the only one who feels that way.
When I read these quotes from Dwight, it sounds like, he either wants people to feel sorry for him or he wants to be praised for playing hurt, like millions of players before...
Phil Jackson has always been a great motivator and a master manipulator. His latest move might actually impact the Laker franchise in a way nobody ever imagined. Jackson has become a mentor of Dwight Howard’s and has been text messaging the Lakers center. Dwight is having a rough season in his first with the Lakers. He’s still getting into shape and having issues related to...
The Los Angeles Lakers acquired center Dwight Howard in the offseason knowing he was still recovering from back surgery. He was slated to return around this part of the regular [...]
Led by Kobe Bryant on offense and Dwight Howard on defense, the Lakers (31-31) stormed back from a 25-point deficit to defeat the stunned Hornets, 108-102. A loss would have been devastating to their goal of reaching the playoffs, but the purple and gold dugged deep and got themselves within a game and a half of the spiraling Jazz for the 8th spot in the west.
Yardbarker with Fox Sports Primetime, Pat & Steve listen to some great sound from the Yardbarker website including Dwight Howard talks about his days in Orlando, Shaq gets revenge on Aaron Carter & Larry Eustachy is back in the news.
The horrid season of wither that the Los Angeles Lakers find themselves in continues with roughly twenty games left until the playoffs. The main question this talented yet dysfunctional team faces is not which seed they will land in the post season, but if they will even make it.
Who would have predicted that a team featuring four likely future Hall of Famers in Bryant, Gasol, Howard...
