PLAYERS: Dwyane Wade
TEAMS: Miami Heat
I have always said this was calculated and masterminded by Dwyane Wade from the beginning. He assessed his personal situation and came to this conclusion. After trying to carry the Heat by himself for a couple of years he simply knew that wasn’t going to work and his body was starting to break down in the process. If he could get Lebron and Bosh on board it would mean two things. First, if anything went wrong the media would blame Lebron and secondly if things went right his career would only be elevated because of it. Both things have happened, so I am not surprised he is cool with Optimus Bron because long term it benefits him. “I’m not looking for headlines, but I’ve been playing all right,” Wade said. “He (James) can have all the headlines. It’s cool.” “He’s been making so much history, so I’m glad I can be in a little bit with him,” Wade said. Wade is an Alpha Male, so it probably bothers him a little, but the rewards far outweigh the annoyances. D Wade will go down as the Lex Luthor if the NBA.
